5 actionable tips to sell your car quickly
There’s a reason why some cars sell quicker than others. So in this article, we’re going to release 5 actionable tips on how to sell your car faster than the average person. These are the same tips used by our car enthusiast friends and family that generated a combined revenue well over $100,000+.
💻 Take Advantage of Facebook Groups
How many Facebook Groups are in you that deal with your car? Posting your car for sale in that group is a great way to make that quick sale as there are loads of people inside that same group in the market for your car.
We’ll do you one even better – There are also groups literally named the car you currently own with the phrase ‘Buy, Sell, Trade’ & ‘For Sale’ behind it. Need I say more? Join those groups today.
& if you aren’t looking to sell your car today, you can still join those groups & document your build process as doing that is somewhat of a hidden gem that
We know you’ve noticed how quick Social Media Influencers such as TJ Hunt & Freshkiicks their cars sell very quickly. Yes, clout is a big part of it; however, think about how they have gained that clout. The answer is by documenting the build process.
You don’t need a big following to document your car build’s process, nor do you need to post it YouTube. You can simply just post pictures of new modifications or issues you run into in those Facebook groups & link back to those when it is time to sell.
The ROI on this method is pretty big as you are building an audience & trust with people you didn’t think you were building trust with.
📸 Take Quality Pictures
Let’s be honest – That dirty car you just swiped through won’t be at the top of your list to buy vs. a clean one with the similar specs. Nor will you entertain that BMW with lots of distractions & bad angles before looking at the one great angles with higher quality pictures.
Quick fun exercise: Which car would you click on first while browsing for sale posts on your choice of app?

If you chose #1, then you’re probably one of those people that asks sellers “Is this still available?” then ghost them afterwards.. It’s okay, we won’t judge you. With that being said, let’s strive to be #2.
🖼 Post More Pictures
Don’t just take one quality picture then go back to average looking photos. Keep that quality consistent & the potential buyer wanting more! If Facebook gives you the option to post 20 photos, post AT LEAST 10 photos.
If you’re actually serious about selling your car, why not take the time to post more than 2 pictures? Remember, The more effort put forth, the better the results – This goes for anything.
💯 Be Honest
Don’t be that person getting blasted on social media for trying to sell a that has a head gasket problem that wasn’t stated in the description. There’s really no need to hide that valve cover gasket leak either. If the problem is heavy enough to weigh on your conscious, then just go buy a cheap alternative part, grab that 10mm socket, & fix it. Honesty goes a long way & will increase trust from the buyer which can result in a quick sell. This can also help during negotiating assuming you will price the car higher than it’s actual worth *wink, wink* 😉.
Tip: Price a tad bit higher than your actual asking price, and negotiate to lower to your asking price assuming the buyer will bring up the issues the car currently has.
🏎 Throw In Those Extra Parts In Your Garage
Add even more value to the car and throw in those stock wheels you’re not going to use anymore. Add as many extra car parts to the sale, bump the price up, and let the buyer do the negotiating. This method works well with negotiating as well as you will run into buyers that will offer a lower price for just the car with no extra parts or the car with the stock wheels instead of the aftermarket wheels. You really have the leverage to price higher here & the ability to make the buyer feel they are getting a good deal by agreeing to a lower price based upon what extra parts they do and don’t want.
Conclusion
Look at it this way – You’re a salesperson at a 1-Man dealership owned by YOU. Your name is on this product, so treat it with the upmost respect & land that sale!
